Our Weaknesses

Most of the time, Evangelical Christians tends to think they are more superior than others of their counterparts like Charismatics & Orthodox. We always feel that we have the total package. The complete package. Little we know, that's what the others thought of themselves too as in they are the one with the total package, others are inferior.

It's a sad thing to see such disunity among Christian Churches. Instead of combining all the strengths together, we attack and hurl insults at one another. How are we supposed to win the darkside?

It's a very similar situation to the 8 big clans in the Wu Lin (武林) world for example, Shao Lin (少林寺), Wu Dan (武當), Hua Shan (华山), etc. Each has their own specialty but they do not learn each others' special techniques as each tends to think their kung fu is superior than the rests. When the enemy comes to attack, they always lose because the enemy always know more types of kung fu than them. Even in times of defeat, they also can't put their differences aside. They still try to act harshly, some died in vain, etc.

Only until a hero comes, the enemy get defeated. Normally the hero is not someone from a particular clan. He is always someone who knows the kung fu of most of the different clans. Hence, he can apply all of them whenever it's needed. One of this hero is Yang Guo (楊過).

So, in the Christianity world, when we are up against the mighty Satan & its' dark forces, are we going to be as ignorant as those 8 big clans? Are we going to think that we are strong enough by ourselves and do not need others' help?

Hopefully not!! Hopefully our Christian leaders can realised this and put all our differences aside and start working together. Imagine our God is divided in the Trinity. God the Father is all about the mastermind, planning everything. God the Son is about saying out the plans by the Father. God the Spirit is doing all the things personally. If they are not working together, then imagine what a disaster it may be! God the Father is saying, we need to rescue these human from their stupidity & sins, The Son decides not to say it out, The Spirit don't know what to do next! What a disaster! (For those theological people out there, this is just a fiction example, so don't bother bombard me with the Trinity theories)

So churches are the same as well! Evangelicals need the Charismatics, Orthodox need the Evangelical and vice versa. Otherwise, we'll be totally imbalance and disunited. Our strength must be shared among all Christians for us to overpower the darkside. Without it, Christianity will only get weaker & weaker!

We need to be rational enough to know the truth, we need to be more like Christ in doing good & closer to God, we need the power of the Holy Spirit to go through our daily lives! A lot of us are stuck at the mind level of knowing a little bit of truth. We couldn't apply what we know or regconize the Holy Spirit. It's a very sad thing! We have fallen into Satan's deception.

Can we get out of it??
